Scope: This standard specifies the basic principles and functional composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and random documents, transportation and storage of automatic cold filter plugging point testers. This standard applies to automatic cold plugging point testers (hereinafter referred to as testers) for measuring the cold plugging point of distillate fuels (including fuels containing flow improvers or other additives for use in diesel engines and civil heating devices).
