Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of solar barns, product model representation methods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and transportation. This standard applies to unitized modular cattle and sheep barns (hereinafter referred to as barns) with steel frame structures, solar vacuum tube heat collection and storage, and electric hot water auxiliary heating. Other types of livestock buildings can also be implemented by reference.
