Scope
This guiding technical document specifies general requirements for the design and structure, selection of components and parts, selection of materials, surface treatment, environmental application and quality assurance of civil aircraft airborne electronic equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment). Detailed electrical and mechanical design, performance and testing requirements are as specified in the equipment specification or contract. This guiding technical document applies to the development of airborne electronic equipment for civil aircraft.
