- This standard specifies the reliability test indicators, reliability assessment methods, test methods, fault definitions, classification and judgment rules for internal combustion engines and internal combustion generator sets for power generation. This standard is applicable to the reliability assessment and evaluation of mass-produced small and medium-power (below 250 kW, including 250 kW) internal combustion engines and internal combustion generator sets (hereinafter referred to as units, excluding emergency generator sets) for power generation. Units above 250 kW can refer to the implementation.
