Scope

This standard specifies the reagents, instruments, measurement methods, result calculation and precision for the volumetric determination of bromide ions in seawater, concentrated seawater and brine. This standard is suitable for volumetric determination of water samples with a bromide ion content less than 6 000 mg/L. The detection limit of this standard is 0.57 mg/L, and the lower limit of quantification is 2.28 mg/L.
