Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades, allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluation values of energy conservation, test and calculation methods and inspection rules for general-purpose copiers, printers, fax machines, and multi-functional all-in-one machines (hereinafter referred to as products). This standard applies to products with standard formats that work normally under the power supply of 220 V and 50 Hz. This standard does not apply to the following products: a) products powered only by data interfaces (such as USB, IEEE 1394, etc.); b) products with a digital receiving front end (DFE); c) output speeds greater than or equal to 70 pages/min products; d) dot matrix printers with more than 48 pins on the print head.
