- This standard specifies the test methods and requirements for on-site measurement of excitation characteristics of the secondary windings of current transformers used in power systems. This standard applies to current transformers used to power electrical measuring instruments and electrical protection devices in power systems. This standard does not apply to current transformers for power systems whose cores are made of non-magnetic material.
