- This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring (GC/MS-SIM) determination methods for the content of phthalates (see Appendix A for specific names) in leather products. This standard is applicable to the determination of phthalate content in leather and its products.
