Scope

This standard specifies the pollution level of hydraulic oil for civil aircraft. This standard is applicable to the assessment of the solid pollution level of hydraulic oil expressed in terms of particle number for civil aircraft and their ground equipment. The assessment of solid pollution levels of other working fluids can be carried out by reference.
