Scope

This part specifies the test requirements and test methods for voltage spikes on onboard equipment of civil aircraft. This section applies to AC and DC power lines of civil aircraft airborne equipment and is used to determine whether the equipment port can operate normally and meet the requirements of its performance specifications when it is affected by voltage spikes from AC or DC power lines.
