- This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of ciguatera toxins in exported aquatic products. This standard is applicable to the detection and confirmation of ciguatera toxin (Pacific ciguatera toxin-1, P-CTX-1) in the meat and internal organs of tiger spot, mouse spot, red spot, grunt, and tiger eel.
