This standard specifies the fluorescent PCR rapid detection method for foodborne rotavirus (Group A) at border ports, including specimen collection, transportation and storage, processing, nucleic acid extraction and detection, result analysis and corresponding biosafety measures. This standard is applicable to the screening and detection of rotavirus (Group A) in fecal samples, vomitus and suspicious food from patients with diarrhea at border ports.
