- This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of diphenyl carbonate in food simulants. This standard is applicable to the determination of diphenyl carbonate in water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and other water-based food simulants, 95% ethanol aqueous solution and olive oil. The lower limit of determination of diphenyl carbonate in water-based food simulants and 95% (volume fraction) ethanol is 0.050 mg/L, and the lower limit of determination of diphenyl carbonate in olive oil is 0.050 mg/kg.
