Scope

This European Standard specifies the requirements for billets, bars and wire rods for fasteners used at high and/or low temperatures made of alloyed (including stainless) or non-alloyed steels, and nickel-based alloys, as specified in table 1.The requirements of this standard may also apply to fasteners in their final state.The general technical delivery conditions of EN 10021 also apply to products supplied in accordance with this European standard.
