This part of is 16474 specifies methods for exposing films to UV fluorescent lamps, in the presence of heat and water in devices designed to reproduce the effects of aging which occur when materials are exposed, in actual end-use environments, in daylight or daylight filtered through window glazing. The films are exposed to different types of UV fluorescent lamps under controlled environmental conditions (temperature, humidity and/or water). Different types of UV fluorescent lamps can be used to meet all requirements.
