- This standard specifies the Soxhlet extraction-gravimetric method for the determination of benzene solubles in waste gas from fixed pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of benzene soluble content in unorganized particulate matter emitted from the top of coke ovens. The determination of benzene soluble matter from other fixed pollution sources may refer to this standard. When the sampling volume is 24 m, the detection limit of the method is 0.02 mg/m.
