This standard specifies the flame atomic absorption spectrophotometric method for the determination of lead in particulate matter in exhaust gases from fixed pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of lead in particulate matter in exhaust gas from fixed pollution sources. When the sampling volume is 0.5 m and the constant volume is 50.0 ml, the detection limit of this standard method is 1.0×10 mg/m, and the lower limit of determination is 4.0×10 mg/m.
