Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of plastic brushes for daily hygiene and cleaning. This standard applies to brushes for daily hygiene cleaning made of plastic. This standard does not apply to plastic brushes that come into direct contact with food, nor does it apply to plastic brooms and industrial and municipal brushes that may come into contact with organic solvents, strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, etc.
