- This standard specifies the energy efficiency test methods for industrial brakes (hereinafter referred to as brakes). This standard applies to electrohydraulic drum brakes, electrohydraulic disc brakes, electromagnetic drum brakes, and electromagnetic and hydraulic caliper disc brakes. Other types of brakes can be implemented by reference.
