Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, samples, packaging, transportation and storage of water evaporative cooling air-conditioning units (referred to as "units"). This standard applies to units that use water direct evaporative coolers, indirect evaporative coolers or multi-stage evaporative coolers as the air cooling section, and water evaporative cooling air-conditioning units that use other cold sources as auxiliary cold sources for the air cooling section can be implemented as a reference.
