Scope
This standard specifies the definition, measurement procedures and evaluation methods of the characteristic parameters of the power quality of wind turbines. The content includes: -- the definition and quantitative description of the power quality characteristic parameters of grid-connected wind turbines; -- the measurement procedure of the quantified characteristic parameters; The power quality of a certain type of wind turbine in the fleet. The measurement procedures in this standard are applicable to a single wind turbine connected to the grid in three phases. This standard only requires testing at the common connection point of the medium-voltage or high-voltage system of the wind turbine and shall be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of this standard. The measurement procedure is applicable to wind turbines of any capacity. The measured characteristic parameters are only valid for the tested wind turbine type in a specific configuration and operating mode. Other unit configurations, including changes in control parameters that will cause changes in the power quality of the wind turbine, need to be evaluated separately. The measurement procedure is designed as far as possible according to the requirements of non-specific sites, therefore, the measurement results in a certain test site are also applicable to other sites. The power quality compliance assessment procedure is applicable to wind turbines connected to the public connection point of the medium-voltage or high-voltage grid, requiring the grid frequency deviation not to exceed ±1 Hz, and having sufficient active power and reactive power regulation capabilities. In other cases, the principles of power quality conformity assessment can be used as a guide. This standard applies to the testing of wind turbines and also contains information that can be used for testing wind farms.
