Scope

This standard specifies the instruments and utensils, reagents and solutions, operation methods and results calculation methods for the determination of caffeine in tea by high performance liquid chromatography and ultraviolet spectrophotometry. This standard applies to the determination of caffeine in tea, and also applies to the determination of caffeine in solid instant tea.
