Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, test devices, instrumentation, environmental requirements, installation methods, test sequences and test methods for the performance testing of differentials for spiral discharge centrifuges (hereinafter referred to as differentials). This standard applies to involute planetary gear differentials and cycloidal pinwheel differentials for spiral discharge centrifuges.
