Scope

This part stipulates requirements for salt spray content, salt spray deposition rate, precautions and other requirements. This section is applicable to the measurement of salt spray environment parameters experienced by the open-air parts of the ship and cabin ship equipment places installed on the ship and put into operation. It is also applicable to the measurement of salt spray environment parameters in all places where the equipment is used.
