Scope: This standard specifies general rules such as product classification, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, acceptance rules and marking information for traction DC pneumatic contactors and electromagnetic contactors. This standard applies to DC pneumatic contactors and electromagnetic contactors for traction (hereinafter referred to as contactors). This standard does not apply to industrial contactors.
