- This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 6742-2 : 1984). This part of ISO 6742 spezifies general requirements for retro-reflective devices for fitting to cycles intended to be used on public roads. Such retro-reflective devices are effective in conditions of poor visibility and at night in helping to make all road users aware of the presence of a cyclist.
