Scope

This part of GB/T 30117 specifies the basic principles of safety requirements for optical radiation of non-laser products, guides the corresponding general product specifications to stipulate safety requirements, and provides a basis for lamp system manufacturers to use the safety information provided by lamp manufacturers. This part specifies the following guiding principles: - optical radiation safety assessment requirements; - safety measures; - product identification. This part does not involve the safety requirements of light radiation intentionally irradiated by tanning equipment, ophthalmic instruments and other medical/cosmetic equipment, and its specific safety issues are resolved by corresponding standards.
