This standard specifies the method for determining the color resistance of various textiles to the action of available chlorine at the concentration used for disinfection of swimming pool water. This standard specifies three different test conditions. The available chlorine concentration of 50 mg/L and 100 mg/L is used for swimwear, and the available chlorine concentration of 20 mg/L is used for bathrobes, towels, etc.
