Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, conditions of use, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of laboratory centrifuges. This standard applies to laboratory centrifuges (hereinafter referred to as centrifuges) whose rated maximum speed is not greater than 30,000 r/min.
