Scope

This part of GB/T 24572 specifies the terms and definitions, principles and characteristics, materials and equipment, and test procedures for extracting common flammable liquid residues in fire scenes by the laboratory using the purge and trap method. This section is applicable to the extraction of common flammable liquid residues such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil and paint thinner at the fire scene in the laboratory.
