Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of residual vinyl chloride monomer content in polyvinyl chloride by liquid headspace gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of vinyl chloride monomer content in polyvinyl chloride resin and its composites, and the detection range is 0.1 μg/g~3.0 μg/g.
