Scope

This method is suitable for the determination of the interfacial tension of mineral oil to water under non-equilibrium conditions. Practice has proved that this method can reliably indicate the existence of hydrophilic compounds. This standard is formulated by equivalently adopting the international standard ISO 6295-1983 "Method for Determination of Interfacial Tension of Petroleum Products Oil to Water (Circle Method)".
