Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ship's ballast water ultraviolet disinfection device (hereinafter referred to as the disinfection device). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, inspection and acceptance of ship's ballast water ultraviolet disinfection device.
