This standard specifies the evaluation method for the life span of the 130-grade insulation structure of series motors used in power tools under general environmental conditions. It is used to evaluate the insulation structure of series motors for power tools with temperature class 130 and single-phase AC voltage not exceeding 250V (hereinafter referred to as class 130 insulation structure). This standard is applicable to the assessment of the life span of the insulation structure of single-phase series motors for power tools. This standard is not applicable to the evaluation of the insulation structure life of non-series motors.
