This part specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments, sample processing, analysis steps, and result calculations for the determination of nickel in waste chemicals by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry. This section is suitable for the determination of nickel content in waste chemicals such as chemical waste residues, wastewater (liquid), waste surface treatment agents, paint residues, etc. It can also be used for the determination of nickel content in soil or sludge. The nickel content in the tested liquid is 0.02 mg/L~5.00 mg/L.
