- This part specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments, sample processing, analysis steps, and result calculations for the determination of cadmium content in waste chemicals by atomic fluorescence method. This section is suitable for the determination of cadmium content in waste chemicals such as chemical waste residues, wastewater (liquid), waste surfactants, paint residues, etc. It can also be used for the determination of cadmium content in soil or sludge. The cadmium content in the tested liquid ranged from 0.05 μg/L to 8.00 μg/L.
