This standard specifies the use of ion chromatography, iodometric method and barium sulfate method to determine the mass fraction of trace sulfur in fertilizer catalysts. This standard is applicable to the determination of the mass fraction of trace sulfur in various types of fertilizer catalysts. The ion chromatography method and the iodometric method are suitable for the determination of sulfur with a mass fraction of 0.001% to 0.1%. The barium sulfate gravimetric method is suitable for the determination of sulfur. Determination of sulfur with mass fraction between 0.1% and 1.0%.
