Scope: This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial sodium bisulfate. This standard applies to industrial sodium bisulfate produced by the Glauber's Salt method and sodium chlorite by-product recovery. It is mainly used as a dyeing aid for acid dyes, a flux for mineral decomposition, a pharmaceutical disinfectant and detergent, sulfate and sodium vitriol. Raw material, catalyst for organic synthesis; also used as acidity regulator, chlorine dioxide activator; also used in oil drilling and soil improvement, etc.
