- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labelling, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial barium fluoride. This standard applies to industrial barium fluoride. It is mainly used in the manufacture of motor brushes, optical glass, optical fibers, laser generators, fluxes, coatings and enamels. It can also be used as wood preservatives and pesticides, as well as additives in the electrolytic aluminum industry and metal heat treatment aids.
