GB/T 19436.2-2013 Electrical safety of machinery.Electro-sensitive protective equipment.Part 2:Particular requirements for equipment using active opto-electronic protective devices (AOPDs) (English Version)
The content of this chapter in Part 1 is replaced as follows: This part of GB/T 19436 specifies that as a component of a specially designed safety-related system, the sensitive functions use active optoelectronic protective devices (AOPDs), which are used to detect the electrosensitive protection of the human body. Particular requirements for design, manufacture and testing of equipment (ESPE). Special attention needs to be paid to its characteristics to ensure that appropriate safety-related performance is achieved. ESPE may include some optional security functions, the requirements for such functions are given in GB/T 19436.1-2013 and Appendix A of this part. This section does not specify the size or shape of the detection zone and its arrangement in any particular application involving dangerous parts, nor does it describe what constitutes any mechanical dangerous state. This part is limited to the function of ESPE and how to connect with the machine. This section does not include AOPDs using radiation wavelengths outside the range of 400 nm to 1 500 nm. This section may be relevant to those non-personal protection applications, for example: protection of machinery or products from mechanical damage. In these applications, additional requirements may be required, such as materials that must be recognized by sensitive functions, have some characteristics different from those of humans. This standard does not address emission requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
