Scope: This part of GB/T 10357 specifies two stability test methods for straight-back chairs and stool furniture: test method and calculation method. The method of applying force and the position of applying force specified in these two test methods are the same, and the test results obtained are equivalent. This part applies to all kinds of straight-back chairs and stool furniture used in homes, hotels, restaurants, etc., as well as reclining chairs and reclining seats that are adjusted to a straight-back state. This section does not apply to multi-row chairs and other multi-purpose chairs, as well as reclining chairs and reclining seats that can be adjusted to lie in a reclining state.
