Scope

This standard specifies the method and technical requirements for detecting hemolytic toxin activity in marine microalgae using the blood cell method. This standard is applicable to the detection of hemolytic toxins in marine microalgae cells in natural seawater, and also applies to the detection of hemolytic toxins in marine microalgae cells cultured in the laboratory.
