Scope: This standard specifies the test method for the mechanical durability of the opening parts of doors and windows after a certain number of opening and closing cycles. This standard applies to full-frame doors and full-frame windows of various materials and opening and closing systems under normal operating conditions. This standard test involves door and window frames, opening members (including all auxiliary members) and necessary hardware accessories, including opening and closing devices. But it does not include any additional fixing accessories, such as: bolts, braces, nor any separately installed limit devices. The opening and closing cycle in this standard includes the movement of auxiliary components such as hinges, struts, balance devices and other mechanical devices.
