Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of nonylphenol in cosmetics. This standard applies to the determination of nonylphenol in creams, loose powders, lotions, and lipstick cosmetics. The detection limit of this standard for nonylphenol is 0.1 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 0.2 mg/kg.
