This standard specifies the sampling method for testing organisms (including foodborne microorganisms, quarantine organisms and genetically modified ingredients) in imported and exported foods that have occurred or prevented food safety incidents. This standard applies to sampling for biological testing in imported and exported foods when food safety incidents have occurred or are preventing occurrences.
