Scope
This standard specifies the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) method for the determination of boron, titanium, zirconium, niobium, tin, antimony, tantalum, tungsten and lead in steel and low alloys. This standard is applicable to the determination of boron, titanium, zirconium, niobium, tin, antimony, tantalum, tungsten and lead in steel and low alloys. The detection limits of each element are shown in Table 1.
