- This standard specifies the requirements for the establis ment of criteria for plugging penetrating cracks and non-penetrating defects in steam generator heat transfer tubes of nuclear power plants in pressurized water reactors (including WwER and CANDU reactors), as well as relevant requirements for the implementation of pipe plugging activities. This standard is applicable to the formulation of tube plugging criteria and the implementation of tube plugging activities for steam generator heat transfer tubes in pressurized water reactors (including wWER and CANDU reactors) nuclear power plants.
