Scope
This standard specifies the fracture toughness test requirements and minimum fracture toughness requirements for pressurized water reactor coolant pressure boundary materials. This standard applies to ferritic steel for pressurized water reactor coolant pressure boundary. This standard does not apply to welded joints and the welding materials used in the pressure boundary.
