- This standard specifies the basic contents, instrument and test requirements, observation data compilation and results analysis requirements for atmospheric dis ersion tests at nuclear power plant sites. This standard applies to the following four types of atmospheric diffusion tests carried out at nuclear power plant sites: ——Boundary layer sounding test (only applicable to theodolite method); ——Turbulence observation test; ——Tracer test; ——Balance ball test.
