This standard applies to the specified range of primary fuel characteristics, but is limited to combined cycle, that is, power generation systems using gas turbines and steam turbines. The boundary of the entire IGCC unit defined in this standard includes three main parts: air separation unit (ASU, for gasifiers using oxygen gasification, or for units using nitrogen); gasification unit (including gas purification); power island . Tests conducted in accordance with this standard determine the quantity and quality of fuel gas, including flow rate, temperature, pressure, composition, calorific value and pollutant content. Pollutants generally refer to compounds that are harmful to gas turbines and power islands, or the original compounds of harmful substances emitted through the chimney. The pollutants to be measured are sodium (Na), potassium (K), vanadium (V), lead (Pb), calcium (Ca), barium (Ba), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulfide (HS) and COS), nitrogen compounds (HCN and NH), chlorides (HC1) and particulate matter. It is recommended that the pre-test agreement should include test procedures, instrument types, measurement methods, calculation methods and test report contents. The adjustment test of IGCC units is not within the scope of this standard.
